The Microsoft Intune Team has been busy at work releasing new features. One of those features that was released in the Service release 2301 was the ability to create filters based on the device’s Azure AD Join Type (aka deviceTrustType). This is really handy when there is the need to target devices based on this property.
In addition, I have started experimenting more with Windows 365 Cloud PC. Yes – I did manage to pull it up on my Tesla. But now is the time to take a closer look. There is also a nice filtering option for these devices as well. Here are a few that I have found useful so far:
All Cloud PCs
(device.model -contains “Cloud PC”)
All AADJ Cloud PCs
(device.model -contains “Cloud PC”) and (device.deviceTrustType -eq “Azure AD joined”)
All HAADJ Cloud PCs
(device.model -contains “Cloud PC”) and (device.deviceTrustType -eq “Hybrid Azure AD joined”)
If there are any W365 Cloud PC filters that you find useful, drop them in the comments below.
